I grew up in Las Vegas and Avon Park—a small town in central Florida—before moving to New York City to pursue a career in finance. I worked as a trader, investment analyst, and investment wholesaler. During this time, I noticed a significant shift in the industry toward data-driven insights and automation, similar to what floor traders experienced in the 2000s.
This realization sparked my interest in data science and led me on a journey to learn Python, SQL, machine learning algorithms, and cloud technologies. I immersed myself in projects that involved integrating complex data sources, building predictive models, and developing interactive dashboards. These experiences not only honed my technical skills but also reinforced my belief in the power of continuous learning and experimentation.
I believe the best way to learn is by doing and sharing knowledge, which is why I created this platform. Here, I share what I’ve learned, hoping it might help or inspire others on a similar path. The process of learning can sometimes feel stagnant, and other times it flows effortlessly—the key is to keep pushing forward.
In my free time, I practice Muay Thai and enjoy reading books—mostly biographies or anything tech-related. My passion for improving in Muay Thai led me to embrace running, which has had many positive effects, often inspiring ideas for new projects after long runs. I’ve dabbled in stand-up comedy through open mics in the past, and I still love anything related to comedy. It helps keep things light after a long day of tackling data-related solutions.
